A Hong Kong native by way of England, Melissa Lee is an independent producer based in Los Angeles. Melissa’s path to a career in film began with an MFA from University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program, where she produced a range of award-winning content, including commercials, webisodes, and short films. Prior to film school, she worked in investment banking with Morgan Stanley as part of their Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

Since graduating from USC, Melissa has focused on developing and packaging high-quality, character-driven feature films. In 2007, Melissa was selected as a participant in the Sundance Independent Producers Conference and is currently a Film Independent Project:Involve Fellow. She is currently in post-production for her first feature, DEAR LEMON LIMA, an independent narrative film by writer/director Suzi Yoonessi. Melissa graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Literature from Harvard University.
